EAC Heads of State to convene for summit

(The Southern African Times) – The heads of state for members of the East African Community (EAC) will convene beginning on Tuesday for their 19th Extra-Ordinary Summit

The summit, which will take place virtually, is expected to consider the report of the Council Of Ministers on the negotiations between the East African Community (EAC) and the Democratic Republic Of the Congo (DRC) on admission of DRC into the EAC.

The Extra-Ordinary Summit will be streamed live on the EAC website – www.eac.int alongside other EAC social media platforms.
